In August 2009 I moved to Wellington New Zealand to work on Avatar at Weta. I worked in the shots department and completed lighting and compositing on the ground battle sequence at the end of the movie. It was a fantastic experience being able to work on a James Cameron project, and somewhat of a dream come true (one of my favourite films is Aliens).  Although worn out by the end of the project I was very proud with the work I completed and happy to have worked on something so huge that so many people have watched.
